We were formed in August 2011 when a group of parents felt that the Club we were with was not serving the best interests of the members.

After a whirlwind few weeks of establishing the Club, finding a home ground, parents doing courses etc, doing the League etc we played our first game in September 2011.

We had 14 players (13 of whom had come from the previous team), a kit, a sponsor and a pitch.

We learned rapidly what was involved.

15 years later we have 18 teams from the U7 age-group right through to an adults team with over 250 players currently playing each week.

We have our own ground with a Club House (that needs load of work).

1 player from that initial 14 played his entire junior career for Spartans until COVID finished off the team. James was invited to be our first Club Captain.

1 player from that initial 14 went on to play professional football for Scunthorpe United. Congratulations to Jack Moore Billam.
